Episode 21: Is the Tennis Court Heating Up?
Seigaku's win at the district tournament has brought a lot of visitors to the school to observe their practice. Inui counted a total of 49 scouts...
Ryoma (performing duties as a library representative) passes by the girl's tennis club on his way to the library and sees a boy in a white school uniform gazing at the girls. Ryoma later finds Sakuno and the elastic ball that she brought and plays with it for a bit before the boy in the white school uniform appears again. He stands just far enough so that the ball can't hit him but after Ryoma switches to his left hand, he knocks the boy out. His name is Kiyosumi Sengoku from Yamabuki.
Two boys from another school, Syunsuke and Kenzo, are following Ryoma and observing him, taking down very useless facts. They follow Ryoma even after practice, as he and Momoshiro head off to a fastfood restaurant, then to Mistumaru Sports to look at some sports gear. They end up getting caught. And then Sakuno and Tomo come into the store as well and seeing two pretty girls, Kenzo is too embarrassed to back down and challenge Momoshiro and Ryoma to a game of doubles. They lose horribly, as expected. But, Syunsuke was able to get a nice passing shot in when he ran over to take a look at Kenzo, who had pulled a muscle.
Momoshiro and Ryoma have inspired the two to work hard at tennis again. Kenzo takes Syunsuke's memo book and rips it apart, saying that they won't be needing this anymore. When the two leave, Ryoma kneels down and reads from the ripped book, something about the girl that Momoshiro likes =)

Episode 22: Kaoru's Misfortune
Practice is over and the first years are sent to do some shopping for the club, with Momoshiro tagging along. Kaidoh is seen doing some extra training (jogging) elsewhere. Suddenly, a woman cries that a theif has stolen her purse, and this thief (on rollerblades) heads right for Momoshiro and gets past him. Momoshiro runs after him and seeing that he won't be able to catch up, he snatches a nearby bike right out of someone else's hands and uses it. The owner of the bike (Kamio) isn't very happy and chases after the Momoshiro. The first years catch up just in time to see Momoshiro and Kamio run off, and are left to deal with Ibu instead. Apparently Ibu had some shopping to do as well.
Meanwhile, Momoshiro and Kamio are duking it out to see who's faster and totally forget about the thief. Just then the thief runs past an intersection and trips Kaidoh over, followed by getting run over by both a bicycle and a pair of feet ^^; Momoshiro and Kamio continue going and rush right past the thief, knocking the purse out of his hand. It flies back and ends hitting Kaidoh. Kaidoh is taken in by the police and was mistaken as the theif. After everything was cleared up, Kaidoh continued jogging. En route, Momo and Kamio pass by Kikumaru and Kawamura. Upon hearing Momo say that he has the best reflexes in Seigaku, Kikumaru is angry. Eventually, Momoshiro runs the bike off a flight of stairs and their battle comes to an end.
After telling Kamio the reason why he took the bike, the two hear a scream coming from a nearby street tennis court. Kamio and Momoshiro rush there and see that the scream came from An, who was having a dispute with another boy. The boy says that she would go on a date with him if he won everyone, and indeed he did. Kamio and Momoshiro propose to challenge the new guy and save An. The new person, along with his friend Kabaji play a one point game with Momo/Kamio pair. However, the boy sits down and just orders Kabaji to pick up all the balls for him. Kabaji is quick and powerful and sends a shot right at Momo's chest. Momo was able to return it just in time and the boy tells Kabaji to stop and admits to losing, very surprised that someone could match Kabaji's strength. When asked his name, he replied "Hyotei Gakuen senior, Atobe Keigo".
Apparently the thief hasn't given up and has picked on another victim. This time he runs into Kikumaru and Kawamura. Kikumaru hands Kawamura his racket and Kawamura hits his drink at him, but also wrecks the strings. The thief loses his grip on the purse and tosses it... unfortunately landing in Kaidoh's face again. Kikumaru gets his strings repaired and finds Echizen and Ibu fighting over grip tape. They buy the tape and take it outside to settle the score and hear the thief again. Kikumaru says that whoever can take down the theif gets the tape. Both of them serve tennis balls and it's Echizen's that takes the thief down. Kaidoh, again, becomes the victim of this. He walks over and tries to beat up the thief while Kawamura tries to stop him. Momoshiro and Kamio bump into the group as well and Kikumaru begins to harrass Momo. Ibu is muttering again and the whole place becomes a mess.

Episode 23: Appeared! Inui's Juice Deluxe
The episode starts off with the 3 freshmen seeing Inui in the field one day doing something the day before the training for the prefectural tournament. It looks like he's digging for something and he pulls out a bug from the ground with an evil grin. The next day, special training for the regulars begin. People are split into groups depending on their play style. There is a defender and an attacker. The defender wins if he can save all the shots within the 5-hit rally. If a shot passes by before then, he loses and the attacker wins. First up is Kawamura versus Kaidoh. Kaidoh loses this one, since his Boomerang Snake doesn't make it into the court. Of course, with Inui around, there is always punishment: his vegetable juice. Momoshiro and Oishi are up next and Momo takes the game with his dunk smash. Poor Oishi falls victim to the juice and can't even make it out of the courts in time to puke and collapses.
Next game ends fast, with Tezuka doing his zero shiki drop shot against Fuji. Momo whispers that it's a shame not to see Tezuka drink it and earns a glare. When Inui pours the juice for Fuji, he realizes that it's just water and looks for the real bottle, which somehow ended up in Tezuka's hands. Tezuka drinks out of it as everyone watches, but no one sees any sort of reaction. Everyone's disappointed, but Tezuka's hand is actually shaking slightly and gripping EXTREMELY hard on the bottle. Inui seems unsatisfied with that and pulls out his new creation: Special Golden Power Remix Inui Juice! It's a murky golden brown and everyone is disgusted. Then the first years recall what the saw the other day, about Inui digging up things, but decide against telling the others. Kikumaru is against Echizen next, and unfortunately, Echizen loses because he couldn't get a point in 5 rallies, even after pulling off a very nice acrobatic move. And poor Echizen gulps down the Remix Juice.
Later on Ryuzaki-sensei informs them about the listing for the prefectural tournament. There are 108 teams in the prefectural but only 5 will make it to the Kantou Regional tournament.

Episode 24: Ryoma's Holiday
Echizen was given the job of taking Sakuno to the racquet stringer, Haritatsu. Nanjiroh, having heard about this 'date', decides to follow Ryoma around.
The two pass by a fastfood restaurant where Momo is treating the three freshmen to a snack. They see the 2 pass by and decide to follow them as well. The group end up bumping into Nanjiroh and Momo recognized him from their last 'encounter'. Momo goes up to Nanjiroh and asks if he's following Echizen. He lies and says he doesn't understand Japanese and runs off. Momo concludes that he must be stalking Sakuno and Momo vows to protect Echizen's date (forcing the others to do it as well).
The 'couple' enter an old shop and are welcomed by an old man, Tatsugoro Tenmon. Tatsugoro sends the two off for a walk since it might still take a while to finish. The two do so, but in complete silence. Sakuno tries to make conversations, but it's useless. Their spectators are following them around again and are totally enraged by Echizen's lack of common sense on communication. When Echizen asks Sakuno why she's talking so much, she is disappointed and runs off, leaving a confused Echizen. Momo just can't stand it anymore, rushes out from his hiding place and tells Echizen to apologize to the girl right this moment. Echizen does as he's told, even though he's still confused. Nanjiroh also steps out of his hiding place.
Echizen doesn't actually say sorry, but buys her a drink instead ^^; Anyhow, all's settled and they get her racquet back. Echizen takes her to a court to help her with her tennis a little and finds that she really sucks. Their onlookers find out that it's not a real date and are disappointed.
That evening, Tezuka asks for Ryuzaki-sensei's permission to let him have a match with Echizen.
